Staying Cool

This is how we have stayed COOL in Texas this summer!

Reading and swimming are two of Jessica's favorite past times I loved this shot because as I watched her before taking the picture, I saw her flicking water onto her book. Later she told me how cool it was to watch the water evaporate.

I love this girl!!!

Grandma and Grandpa Reid are Heading Home

I am so thankful for Grandma and Grandpa Reid!!! They worked so hard to help me get ready to move. March and April were the wettest months in PA history! We sloshed through mud as we got rid of stuff, cleaned out barns, and prepared to move. Finally in August, they were ready to head home from their mission and were able to spend several days with us in Texas!!! We had lots of fun enjoying the sunshine, Texas BBQ, and seeing the sites of San Angelo. It takes serious concentration to play Othello

Checking out the stage coach at Old Fort Concho

Grandma made this crazy quilt pillow for Jessica's Birthday. It turned out soooo beautiful.
Grandpa playing with Stella. They had no peace and quiet at all while here...We brought Stella home about an hour before they arrived.

Grandma, Mikayla and the crazy quilt birthday cake. I love these two!!!

Cake Boss

Mikayla loves to bake cakes! She made Logan a leaning 4 layer chocolate cake with molded chocolate emblems of what he loves...corvette decal, trumpet, guitar, pie, and shoes....What a great birthday gift!
Work in progress...She loves the apron Misha made her too!

This one is for Grandma Reid's birthday. It is a crazy quilt...something that Grandma learned to do from some ladies in PA. She drove all the way from PA, just to be in San Angelo for her birthday.

This is a chocolate mousse filled Angel Food cake. Mikayla is her father's favorite baker!!!

Jessica's B-day cake in the works...I don't have a finished photo, maybe Mikayla has one I can borrow. It had a big bow around it and tasted heavenly!!!

Jessica's Baby

This is STELLA
She's a hound dog

She looks so innocent, but this week she is a ravenous ankle, finger, arm, shoe, toe, sock biter!

Her first day home with us on July 21, 2011. She wobbled when she walked and woke Jessica up every couple hours all night long. Jessica is one amazing girl! No complaining at all!!!

Logan's Baby

The newest member of our family...Logan's 78 Corvette

One Happy Kiddo and Dad

This is a '78 Pace Car. She is very fast, loud, and fun to ride in. Logan won't let me drive her, so I wouldn't know how she handles. Very Cool.

It's Moving Day

We rented a huge dumpster to help with the de-junking.
One of my favorite views in the world!

A couple of the guys from the moving crew.

Packing Day!

Where to start? Moving from Mansfield to San Angelo has been a lot of fun and tons of work! Mike started work the middle of February, 2011 and we dejunked, packed, cleaned, and waited for sunshine! What an amazing experience to live in the woods in PA for the past 7 years. Memories we will always cherish!
